The new 88rising x Guess collection will drop in the Philippines this November

Yearbook photos almost exclusively come out looking awkward. It’s also true for the artists of 88rising, but they still look damn stylish while doing it.

The Asian media powerhouse will release a new capsule collection with Guessmade for the second annual Head in the Clouds Music Festival on Aug. 17.  Their first collab for Head in the Clouds last year sold out in 20 minutes, and we won’t be surprised if the same thing happens this year.

The accompanying lookbook features a yearbook-inspired shoot—think awkward smiles in front of a blue 90s felt backdrop—with the artists of 88rising wearing shirts, sweaters, bucket hats, denim jackets, hoodies, and more from the line. It features a rare smiling Joji, Niki looking fire as per usual, and the boys of Higher Brothers looking like a baddie boy band, just to mention a few.

I never knew how much I needed a photo of Rich Brian in a clasped-hands pose. Good thing this collection is not exclusive to the festival alone. After their drop this Aug. 17, it will be available in Guess stores in the US as well as international branches including the Philippines.

We’ll be getting the much-awaited drop locally on Nov. 9 at the Trinoma, SM Megamall, Glorietta, Alabang Town Center, Robinson’s Ermita, Mall Of Asia and Ayala Cebu branches of Guess. See you in the line on release day, friends.
