Everything you need to know about the Off-White Manila store

Whatever you may think of the label and its creative lead, Off-White has all of us paying attention. With the store publicly opening on August 8, everyone caught between the crosshairs of street style and high fashion are gearing to line up.

That is, if they already haven’t.

Not everyone can be a VIP with H&F Retail Concepts, Inc. who, aside from Off-White, brought Balenciaga, COMME des GARCONS, and other coveted brands to Manila. With the Manila exclusives already sold out, we’re burning with questions on what’s next. So we look to the staff from H&F for answers, and here they are:

What’s the plan tomorrow?
For the public opening on the 8th, we are doing a one-is-to-one system. As much as possible we’re having one sales associate per person.

What are the first things people looked for when they entered the store?
1. the Manila Exclusives
2. Off-White x Air Jordan 1 “UNC”

What were people demanding the most and what was the demand like when you guys opened the first time?
People look for the collaboration releases the most. As a standalone store, we are now able to stock the Nike collaborations, items that we didn’t have previously in any Univers as a multilabel, but we are now able to carry as a standalone store.

So there are exclusive items around the world we’re gonna get in here in Manila.
Most likely, yes. Yeah.

Who did the interior design for the store?
The Off-White Manila store takes inspiration from art specifically Giorgio de Chirico’s Presence e passato (1936) and Piazza d’Italia con statua (1937) but still manages to maintain that contemporary look of the brand.

Will there by a restock for the Manila exclusives sometime soon?
Due to the successful private viewing yesterday, we’re happy to announce that a new Manila Exclusive release will arrive later this year. Follow @off___white__manila on Instagram for quick updates.

What’s the most expensive item on sale right now?
The Black Rap Fake Fur Jacket.

Can you tell us any long term plans for Off-White Manila?
As a brand, Off-White will always remain interesting. This means we’ve got a lot to play around with. All I can disclose right now is that this is just the beginning.
