Learn how to market your animated film globally at Animation du Monde

Calling all animators and animators-in-the-making! The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is bringing the international festival, Animation du Monde, to the Philippines this Feb 18 to 22.

The activities from Feb 19 to 21 is open to animators at any and all levels, whether you’re a seasoned professor or a budding student. Lectures will be open to the public, and features topics on the age-old dilemma when it comes to filmmaking and animation: How to actually fund, produce, and get your animated film out for the world to see.

To give you an idea of what’s going down, some of the featured talks are How to Apply for Grants at MIFA, Centre National du Cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), Cinema du Monde, and more with Charlotte Deflassieux Viguier; Producer Insight for Short Films with Ron Dyens; Marketing from Script to Screen: The Role of Intellectual Property Rights with Atty. Emerson Cuyo; and a talk from FDCP Chair Liza Diño titled Where Can I Get Funding for My Film.

Other than the talks, there will be free screenings of selected short animated films, including Carl Joseph Papa’s Paglisan and Ron Dyen’s Long Way North.
