How much did you fuck up today? Well, it’s probably not at the same level as a “Star Wars” actor losing their script for “The Rise of Skywalker,” forcing Disney (a mutant media conglomerate) to buy said lost script on eBay to avoid spoilers galore.
We will finally see “The Rise of Skywalker” next month. This brings an end to the trilogy surrounding the Skywalker family. Still, we have no fucking clue what the movie’s about—except for one lucky guy who stumbled upon its script.

Disney is taking a page out of Marvel’s playbook by keeping everything under wraps. So far, they were successful. But the company came close to having it all leaked because of an unnamed actor leaving it behind at a hotel.
“The security is insane. The company [was] really nervous about anything getting out,” said director J.J. Abrams during his “Good Morning America” appearance. “They had only a handful of scripts and they were printed on crazy, uncopyable paper. And then one of our actors, and I’m not going to say which one—I want to, but I won’t—left it under their bed.”

According to Abrams, it was a house cleaner who discovered the script. They pocketed it and gave it to a friend who was smart enough to put it up on eBay. This situation can make anyone with an NDA cry in agony, while making sci-fi fans like us laugh at the messed up circumstances.
