‘The Sims’ is hosting a music fest with actual musicians (in Simlish, OFC)

Unfortunately, music festivals are still a “so 2019” thing for us on this side of the world. And if we can’t have that sweaty summer experience, we turn to our gaming habits, just like this: A music festival in “The Sims 4” in full Simlish glory, featuring actual musicians.

The popular Electronic Arts game has recently announced that it’ll be hosting an in-game music festival called “Sims Sessions.” The fest’s headliner will be Grammy-nominated singer Bebe Rexha, who’s expected to perform her track “Sabotage” in Simlish. Other acts include electronic pop band Glass Animals and folk R&B singer Joy Oladokun.

Players can also recreate the whole IRL music fest experience with a fully maneuverable festival space. The event will include a shop section, where Sims can buy artists’ merch, run their own crafts table, and grab snacks at food trucks. Sims don’t even have to head home during the one-week event—the fest space includes camping tents where they can sleep, and of course, Woohoo. Once the artists’ sched is done, Sims can also perform on the stages themselves. (Looking at you, Sims with the “music lover” trait.)

“Sims Sessions” will run from June 30, 1 a.m. to July 8, 1 p.m. Philippine time. To get there, all you have to do is have the base “Sims 4” game, and you’re good to go.
