MIBF 2021 is happening this November, bookworms (and hoarders)

Are you a book hoarder, a fast reader, a passionate series collector, or a BookTok regular? One day, these labels won’t matter. And that day is the Manila International Book Fair.

After its short-lived sale from Sept. 30 to Oct. 6, one of the country’s most anticipated literary festivals is back for its November edition. If you still have room in your shelves (or even if you don’t—let’s be real, you’ll still be tempted, right?), it’s time to revisit that TBR list before the virtual bookstore is open from Nov. 17 until 21.

Whether you’re staying in your comfort-zone genre or jumping to another world, this year’s MIBF has prepared a rich lineup for you. Think graphic novels, Filipiniana finds, academic books, children’s books, and more from their roster of exhibitors. According to Rappler, you’ll be able to pay for your chosen titles via credit/debit card, or mobile wallets like GrabPay, DragonPay, and GCash. Deliveries are expected within seven to 10 business days after hitting that checkout button (guilt-free).

But while we wait for more possible sneak peeks into this year’s collection, let us help you decide on your next reads. Here are our recos in case you’re in the mood for some enemies-to-lovers tales, queer YA books, or self-help
