Three top Filipino chefs are cooking up something for Savage’s first anniversary

Josh Boutwood’s concepts attract loyal patrons, and for good reason. From Savage his pre-industrial diner where everything is cooked over open fire to the intimate 10-seater Helm where the menu is defined only by colors, his concepts are always a delight to come to and experience.

Meanwhile, Karla Mendoza whose comprehensive background includes working with the likes of Mario Batali, Anita Lo and Nancy Silverton, is known for her private dinners and has everyone anticipating her upcoming Italian restaurant in Chino Roces, the first of her own after spending years abroad.

Nicco Santos, on the other hand, specializes in Asian cuisine. With his restaurants like Hey Handsome, Your Local, and his latest in Poblacion called Essential Goodness, Santos has forged an identity for himself and for his work.

What happens when you put together these culinary figures in one kitchen? The answer may not be far fetched as it seems as the three will be headlining Savage’s one night only anniversary dinner called 6 Hands Across the Hearth on Apr. 29.

These three chefs who are all experts in their fields of specialization will be serving 6-course set menus at Savage’s space at Arya Residences in Bonifacio Global City.

Part of the proceeds will go to CRIBS Foundation Inc., a non-profit dedicated to providing a home to abandoned, neglected, surrendered babies and female minor survivors of sexual abuse.

The 6-course set is priced at P2,300 per guest. To book your seats, please call or message Savage at 0915-3339546.
