The vegan version of the international ice cream brand Magnum is now available in the Philippines exclusively at Landers Superstores branches nationwide.
The premium ice cream brand which made its way to our local scene back in 2012, from first rolling out their classic ice cream bars to their more recent release which is macadamia salted caramel bar has since been spot on in providing us with decadent quick fixes. A market that they more recently (and finally) has been tapping into is the vegan community.
First being released in the U.S. and the U.K. last January of 2019 probably in line with Veganuary, Magnum Vegan is here just in time for summer. Now, our vegan friends can experience these luscious but non-dairy ice cream bars.
This plant-based version of the product is a creamy emulsion of coconut oil, pea protein, and vanilla sweetener that is enclosed in a rich shell of sweet non-dairy, ethically-sourced Belgian chocolate.
The classic Magnum Vegan costs almost double the price of a regular Magnum bar at P119 and something to keep in mind (for my fellow diabetics out there) is that it has higher sugar content than regular Magnum bars, which in itself is already very sweet.
As of writing, you can only get them exclusively at Landers Superstore outlets nationwide or through their website.
