#UlyssesPH: No classes and work in gov’t offices in NCR, Regions 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 5 and CAR

Due to inclement weather because of Typhoon Ulysses (international name: Vamco), Malacanang announced at 3 p.m. today that classes in all levels as well as work in government offices have been suspended until tomorrow.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) recommended the measure as the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) confirms that Typhoon Ulysses continues to move closer to the Quezon-Aurora area.

According to PAGASA’s latest bulletin, “Destructive winds and intense to torrential rainfall will be experienced over the northern portions of Catanduanes, Camarines Sur, and Camarines Norte until tonight, and over Aurora and the northern portion of Quezon tonight through tomorrow early morning.”
