There are many ways to help Cagayan Valley and many other localities affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses. There are monetary and in-kind donation drives organized by non-profit organizations as well as business-organized sales, where a portion of profits go to charity.

One of the latest to join this donation drive is dessert place The Lost Bread, which recently launched a limited edition ice cream flavor made from Cagayan Valley’s top export: corn.
“Our newest Sweet Corn ice cream was made in honor of the people of Cagayan Valley who have suffered from the recent typhoon Ulysses,” says the Maginhawa dessert pioneer.

For every pint of sweet corn ice cream purchased (for P250), P100 will be donated to Quezon City-based non-partisan, nongovernment organization advocating good governance and leadership, the Kaya Natin Movement’s “Bangon Luzon Campaign.”
The Lost Bread’s goal is to sell 1,000 pints that would bring in a total P100,000 in cash donation. This limited flavor is only available until the donation goal is reached.
You can pre-order the Sweet Corn ice cream through The Lost Bread’s website. It will be available by Nov. 30.
