Instagram and TikTok foodies, a familiar favorite is coming your way. Ijo Bakery posted a teaser on its Instagram for a new pastry—and it reminds us of a certain TikTok famous croissant all the way from New York.
The pastry in question is a round pistachio croissant. Eagle-eyed individuals can see the similarities between Ijo’s incoming confection and Lafayette Bakery’s viral Suprême stuffed croissants.
Aside from the yet-to-be-released flavors, Ijo also serves another version of the round croissant. The “cheese wheel” is a rotund, flaky croissant made with cheese (naturally) and dusted with malt powder.
Aside from these viral croissants, Ijo also bakes up the classic version of these flaky pastries—along with viennoiserie classics like small cakes, tarts, and cream puffs.
No word yet on when the new croissant will be available, but we’ll be waiting with bated breath.
