Over the weekend, social media blew up with posts of Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico’s one-year wedding anniversary.
From their all-star wedding ceremony to their daily antics, one year of these two in marital bliss has taught a few of us what a marriage can be like. Tagged as #couplegoals, these two let us in on a few secrets that married people can relate to. It’s a mix of laughter and cheesiness (which, hate to admit it, we are a sucker for.)
Nico has taught us that there should always be humor in your daily married life. #Wifezilla chronicles are one good example.

Solenn showed us that it never hurts to be unlike other couples and to be a little intense. You do you, Sos!
On her website, Solenn writes that being married doesn’t mean losing your own identity. One tip she shares, “Don’t forget who you are and always stay true yourself. If there’s something you strongly believe in, stand up for it.” That defintely includes wanting to dance and sing to Shakira.
To this, Solenn adds “me-time” is important. No wonder Nico and Solenn make it top priority to hang out with their respective squads.
Lastly, being cheesy is part of the whole deal. If you must do it, do it with some style. Get your reputable photographer and videographer in the gig. Throw it back to your wedding day and remind your followers that it was indeed a magical day.
