Experience Coachella from your couch with this new documentary

The mother of modern music fests has been in every millennial and Gen Zer’s bucket list since hologram Tupac. If you have a deep desire to experience a musical high without breaking the bank, the folks behind the fest are releasing the documentary, “Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert.”

Slated for a Mar. 31 premiere on YouTube Originals, the documentary will feature insights into the festival’s history, including never-before-seen performance footage. Featured artists will include BLACKPINK, Billie Eilish, Radiohead, Kanye West, Björk, among others.

The documentary will be available for free on YouTube, although the video-sharing platform has added in a little sweetener for paid subscribers. As part of their partnership with the fest, YouTube Premium holders will receive purchase access to members-only Coachella passes. If you’re willing to shell out a few bucks, this may be a great deal as the first weekend’s on-sales passes are already sold out.

And for those who don’t want to brave the sea of famous festival-goers, we’ll be watching from the comfort of our couches instead. Watch the documentary’s teaser below:
