Traversing the metro is hard enough without worrying about congested roads and overpopulated trains. But to go through the everyday rush hour on top of the heat and humidity? It’s torment on a whole new level.

Fortunately, we’ve got several tools at our disposal to make the daily journey a little more bearable—a handheld fan to blow the heat away, cooling wipes to keep you refreshed and ready for the day ahead, a specially-curated playlist to keep the vibes up, and most importantly, a pack of Mentos for that quick and fresh boost.

In time for back-to-school season, Mentos Philippines is reinforcing its commitment to helping students and commuters through the morning grind with “Biyaheng Fresh”—a campaign that aims to remind Filipinos to take time to reset and recharge, whether during hectic commutes or school and office deadlines.

How? Through on-ground activations in major transport terminals, upcycled benches, and a partnership with Angkas.

Sustainability and rest for the journey ahead

As part of Mentos Philippines’ “Yes to Fresh” campaign, they have also donated 200 Mentos benches made from 100 percent recycled plastic to key terminals nationwide. And it’s not just about giving commuters a chance to rest and refresh while waiting to go to the province or for vacation, it’s also about giving plastic waste a renewed purpose.

Staying refreshed all day long

Apart from the aforementioned initiatives, Mentos Philippines is also bringing the “Biyaheng Fresh” campaign closer to commuters through on-ground activations in major transport terminals nationwide.

More specifically, through a series of mini-games and giveaways, leaving busy travelers not only with Mentos candies for the journey ahead but also a selection of unique prizes. The campaign kicked off with several on-ground activations during Undas, Holy Week, and long weekends at key local travel destinations.
