Attention, grimy kids of this town: It looks like an upcoming Netflix series could restart your all-night binge-watching. Whether it’s for the better or worse, well, that’s up to you to decide.
The streaming platform just released the teaser for “I Am Not Okay With This,” a new series from “The End of the F***king World” creator and director Jonathan Entwistle and the producers of “Stranger Things.” This fresh addition to our Netflix queue is bound to take us on a wild ride of sort-of awkward conversations and self-discovery.
The story follows the coming of age quest of Sydney (or Angsty Syd) as she navigates high school awkwardly—with her family, sexuality, and unrequited crush on her best friend Dina in the picture. While figuring all these out, she also tests where her mysterious telekinetic powers could take her. Now that’s the kind of energy we resonate with.

Featuring a vintage-inspired ensemble (we’d love to see more corduroy), “I Am Not Okay With This” is an adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name by Charles Forsman. He also wrote the graphic novel “The End of the F***ing World,” so we know who to blame—I mean, send questions to—if we ever lose sleep pondering questions about the two shows.
Intrigued? This teaser just confirms our expectations of how awkward it will get—and we honestly want more of it. Streaming starts Feb. 26.
