You are what you eat, but sometimes, you wear ’em instead. Take Boston Celtics player Jayson “Taco Jay” Tatum for example, who showed off his Air Jordan player exclusive (PE) sneaks that are—you guessed it—taco-themed.
The 22-year-old NBA player took his new sneakers to the court just as the Boston Celtics faced off with the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, Mar. 11. The Celtics won, so suffice to say, these food-themed sneakers might just be their good luck charm.

The exclusive Air Jordan sneakers feature an orange and yellow colorway with hints of red accents. Aside from the striking shades, the lettuce detailings highlight its novelty as found in the pair’s lining and midsole. Reactions over the internet are a toss-up between “hard pass” and “good enough to eat.” These PE sneakers aren’t on shelves (yet), but you can check out these other food-inspired kicks you can get on the market.
