There will be a lot of flower-giving again, especially of red roses, the most popular blooms during Valentine’s Day. These flowers are often associated with love, passion, and romance. This connection dates back to the Victorian Era, when professing feelings in public weren’t socially acceptable, so they used symbols like red roses.
Although still popular, it doesn’t mean that we have to adopt the red roses tradition to express our admiration for our significant others. If you want a change, be a little edgy, and challenge the norms (like it’s a big deal), here are some floral gifts that are more impressive than a bouquet of roses.

There’s also an arrangement that plays with tropical blooms paired with queen protea, dephinium, local orchids, and an adolescent cabbage rose. It’s priced at P4,000.
Akong Gugma offers delivery via Guava Sketches at Greenbelt 3.
Aesthetic Flowers
Aesthetic Flowers is famous for being the first to commercially introduce the Beauty and the Beast-inspired Enchanted Rose, a preserved rose enclosed in a glass dome imported from Ecuador. But aside from that, if you’re veering away from the roses, they also have a box of daisies, assorted berries, and white statice. A box costs P5,100 inclusive of delivery free within Metro Manila.
