Last Apr. 17, the musician and former Scout cover star released a lyric video to accompany the single. The lines speak of a will they, won’t they romance. “Breaking rules it’s getting hazy /But you been owning my soul lately,” sings Kiana. Who can forget the thrill of an amorous chase?
“Corners” features a sultry production that makes Kiana’s glossy vocals—which she posted an isolated snippet of on Instagram—shine.
It’s a contrast to her previous single “No Rush” with producer Billy Davis, which is a more upbeat offering. We hear you, Kiana—you’ve got range. Between those two tracks and videos, stans are really getting spoiled this month.
