Cop original prints from BJ Pascual, Shaira Luna, Mark Nicdao and more in this fundraiser for photographers

Two months into lockdown, project-based creatives around the nation have collectively lost hundreds of millions of pesos in income. In this critical time, it’s imperative that we support artists. If you have funds to spare, you can participate in initiatives like Shelter Fund.

Shelter Fund is an online fundraising project initiated by QC-based photography space Shutterspace Studios. Starting May 1, original signed prints from over 100 Filipino photographers will be up for sale.

The prints will come in A2, A3, A4 and A5-sized archival heavyweight paper. Works from industry professionals like BJ Pascual, Shaira Luna, Mark Nicdao, Charisma Lico and Geloy Concepcion are just some of the featured photographers in the sale.

“Many of us have lent our images to various fund-raising activities to help combat this pandemic. Some even continue to work on the front lines, documenting it as it happens,” reads the Shelter Fund statement. “We now also have to look inward, towards our own,” they add.

Purchases from the sale will help support the featured photographers, and a portion of each to a communal fund for every artist’s benefit. If you’re interested in copping prints for a cause, follow Shelter Fund on Instagram and Facebook where you can check out the prints and place your orders.
