“WAP,” the pearl-clutching Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion masterpiece, has been the subject of conservatives’ irritation. Aside from the long list of controversies (Kylie Jenner, tigers or lyrics worthy of more than five bleeps a second), the track has made it atop the Billboard Hot 100, but it’s making its impact through the best way possible: waterproof rain gear.
Rapper Cardi B has recently unveiled her lineup of “WAP” merchandise, which features water-themed and waterproof rain gear like umbrellas and raincoats as well as sweaters, cropped shirts and biker shorts.
Most pieces don’t come cheap, though. The raincoat, available in black, purple or white, comes at $125 (around P6,065). Folks can do their own rendition of “WAP”-styled “Singin’ in the Rain” with proper warnings, as each piece is emblazoned with the “WAP” logo, plus an “XXX” and “18+.” For a cheaper alternative, however, the black/purple umbrella costs $25 (that’s around P1,213).
Up your rainy alley? Cardi B and friends are selling it over at the digital WAP store.
