About the Speaker
Eric Cruz has made a career out of reinvention. Growing up at pioneering creative hot shops and cutting edge digital agencies, the globally recognized creative talent has gone from designing websites, packaging and identity systems to creating new ways for consumer engagement.
Fusing art, design, moving images and digital narratives, he has led brands such as Nike, Google, Honda and Aiwa in pushing new frontiers in media hybrids.
At Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo, Cruz co-founded W+K Tokyo Lab, an experimental music label and creative think-tank that helped reinvent the music industry while providing brands with compelling content in the form of live events to online experiences.
Cruz’s career has taken him from Imaginary Forces LA to W+K Portland,Tokyo and London, Razorfish London and most recently to Leo Burnett Malaysia as executive creative director, where he is again ready for another round of reinvention.
