Have you met Careless Music’s new artist Jolianne? Peep this MV

It’s official: Careless Music is on a roll this year. While we’re still on a “Soda” hangover waiting for the Wildest Dreams concert in May, the music label has ripped through 2021 with their new kids on the block—one of them is 17-year-old Jolianne Salvado.

Hailing from Cebu City, R&B-pop singer-songwriter Jolianne has debuted her first music video under Careless called “Sublime.” Sure, you might recall her from “Tattooed Heart,” the song she performed at The Voice Kids five years ago. But just like what her new single—which she co-wrote with Bret Jackson—says, she’s ready to claim her place, now with more power in her voice’s timbre.

In her hazy music video, we follow the artist clad in face gems and pastel ‘fits as she ruminates in her bedroom, all the way down to her mysterious flower garden entrance—as if sharing the magic she’s discovered in herself. “It’s my time, it’s my moment,” she sings. A new queen of manifestation? We’d love to see it.

Directed by Edrey Paul Biteng and produced by Careless Music and The Finest, “Sublime” warms up our getting-to-know stage with Jolianne, welcoming more dreamlike encounters from here on out.
