The ‘To All The Boys’ spin-off will be all about Kitty

Whether you’re aboard the “yes, please” or “hard pass” train regarding the last movie of the “To All The Boys” trilogy, the TATBILB cinematic universe is still in full swing. Its next offering? A spin-off series.

According to Deadline, the expansion of the rom-com ’verse will come as a Netflix show, comprising half-hour episodes. While the movie trilogy and the OG young adult books focused on Lara Jean (played by Lana Condor) and her fledgling romance with schoolmate Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo), the supposed spin-off will zero in on Lara’s youngest sister Kitty, who’ll soon find love on her own.

Anna Cathcart, who played Kitty in the original trilogy, is set to reprise her role. Unlike the trilogy, this spin-off won’t be based on previously published material. However, the “To All The Boys” author Jenny Han will continue to work behind the scenes for the potential series as creator, writer and executive producer. Novelist and screenwriter Siobhan Vivian—who has worked on the YA book “Burn for Burn” with Han—will co-write the pilot script.

The series is currently in early development, so expect more news to roll in the near future. (Yes, including Lana Condor and Noah Centineo cameo rumors.)
