Remy Martin in a recent high profile event held at The Main Club of Seventh High, formally launched the Center Dance Showdown. Staged for the first time in the Philippines, this prestigious dance competition has twenty three (23) of the country’s finest dance crews competing, and will be the main battleground for the honor and distinction of representing the country in the Asian Regional Finals of the Centaur Dance Showdown in Singapore in January 2013.
In the press launch and elimination round ably hosted by the lovely Carla Dunareanu and the dashing Josh Bautista, top Remy Cointreau International executives— Evan Seah and Laurent Soulat especially flew-in to Manila to attend the competition and were wowed and impressed by what the Philippines dance crews had to offer.
As opined by a visibly excited Mr. Evan Seah, “Impressive, impressive! Filipinos are probably one of the best dancers in the world!”
Laurent Soulat added, “The level of competitiveness shown by the Filipino dance crews is simply incredible! Looks like the Philippines is really out to win this competition. I look forward to seeing them strut their stuff in the Singapore.”
Out of the twenty three (23) dance crews competing in the elimination round, eight (8) finalists were chosen and will again compete in the Philippine Finals on October 18, 2012 for the title of Best Dance Crew. They will in turn officially represent the country in Singapore for the Asian Regional Finals where they will be vying for the top prize of US$10,000.

The roster of highly qualified competition judges is most impressive with the elimination round composed of Leal Marie Diaz of the Philippine All Stars, Bong Tan of the Manoeuvres, and Laurent Soulat of Remy Cointreau International.
For the October 18, 2012 Philippine Grand Finals, in addition to the current competition judges, especially flying in to join them will be Madonna’s head choreographer— Normann Shay.
