Off-White’s official video game feels very ‘GTA’

Off-White’s not just sticking to streetwear, it seems. Back in 2020, the brand’s founder Virgil Abloh talked about the line where fashion and gaming meet. Now, the man has turned to pixel reality: There’s now an official Off-White mobile game. (Yeah, seriously.)

In a collaboration with New York street artist Katsu, the streetwear giant has released an official video game for smartphones called “OFFKAT” as part of their fashion art project. The game revolves around two playable characters—Abloh and Katsu themselves—who are tasked to tag walls and buildings around “OFFKAT City.” True to the spirit of Katsu’s IRL graffiti that questions technology and commercialism, players must do all this without altering security cameras and lurking po-pos. The more they paint, the more they reach the ultimate defeat of the game’s big bad villain, OFFKAT City’s corrupt mayor.

“OFFKAT” can be downloaded on the App Store and Google Play. But if music’s more your thing, here are a couple of Virgil Abloh-approved tracks to boost your creative inspo.
