Quick question, how do you make a graduating student coil up into a ball of suffering? Simple: review of related literature, the thesis section that brings upon a wave of MLA/APA citations, buttloads of tears, and hours spent in the library (because Wikipedia won’t cut it, duh). Maxing your study time inside a campus isn’t quite an option with online classes still reigning, but fortunately, online resources are there for you—all for free.
In case you didn’t know, the Philippines’ very own National Library has an e-resources section on its website, composed of peer-reviewed academic journals and articles that we all love to quote. This includes databases such as EBSCOhost, Gale Ebooks, PressReader, ProQuest, Britannica Library, and more.
The portal is accessible to the public, whether you’re a student or not. All you have to do is register on the National Library’s portal, wait for the confirmation email, and head to the e-portal’s main page. (BTW: Using Firefox is recommended.)
For detailed instructions, check out a quick how-to here. Best of luck, thesis kids.
