Zenaida “Neny” Tantoco of Rustan’s and Stores Specialists, Inc. and trés charmant Philippe Charriol of the world-renowned Charriol famille hosted a chi-chi St. Tropez-inspired bash to introduce the latest Charriol line, what else but St. Tropez collection, dahlings.
Charriol jetted into town with his children, talented artist Alexandre and gorgeous Coralie.
Popular French singer Antoine Debarge performed the brand’s new soundtrack, “Hey Charriol!” to the wild applause of the invitees. Solenn Heussaff in her sultry style performed loads of French songs.
The night was characterized by overflowing chilled Moët & Chandon champagne, which was the preferred drink of the Charriols. After all it’s so French, dahlings, n’est ces pas?
Also served was Belvedere Vodka, which kept everyone partying and grooving to the beats of handsome DJ Callum David.
“Charriol and Stores Specialists, Inc. are taking a step in initiating corporate social responsibility through the announcement of a month-long fundraising campaign for the benefit of the Cancer Resource and Wellness (Carewell) Community Foundation—a nonprofit organization that provides support, education, and hope to persons with cancer and their loved ones,” said Tantoco.
Carewell managing director Oliver Calasanz thanked the new partnership. “For every purchase of a Charriol Watch from Oct. 13-Nov. 12, across all 15 Charriol stores in the Philippines,” he explained, “an amount of P1,000 will be donated to the Carewell Community.”
This chic new collection is adorned with diamonds set in mother-of-pearl, a first in the Charriol range. It also has a cable bracelet and adjustable chain that shines beneath an unusual sapphire crystal. The collection features innovative cable motif rubber straps in black or white, giving it a casual touch that will totally appeal to younger wearers.

Chocolate gig
Villa del Conte had an incredible chocolate and wine pairing event at The Hub of the Marriot Manila.
Italian chocolatier Enrico Cattapan and his Filipino wife, Felinda Tupaz, jetted into town from Padova, Italy, with their sons, good-looking Stefano and Julio, to personally entertain the chocolate- and wine-loving guests of local partners, Vince Aldanese and his wife, Rhoda Campos.
Namedroppables included stunning Bea Zobel Jr., top designers Inno Sotto, Pepito Albert, Jojie Lloren and Dennis Lustico; and charity advocate Kaye Tinga, with her daughters Kylie and Kerry. They breezed in along with home accessories designer Andy Vazquez Prada, who came with parents Maricris Sangroniz and Nando Vazquez Prada, dahlings.
Chocolate lovers who couldn’t get enough of the new Villa del Conte flavors were Resorts World’s Kingson Sian; Marriot Hotel PR Mitch Garcia; Rose and Tommy Tantoco; and Ria Francisco Prieto.
Since chocolate is a famille favorite, dahlings, also present were former foreign secretary Alberto Romulo and wife, Lovely Tecson, and daughters Mons and Lupe.
Arthur Tan, wife Janet and children Andrea and AJ, had a blast sampling the yummy chocolates. Society mainstay Jojo Ongsiako and daughter Ina also enjoyed the chocolates.
The Aldanases and Cattapans turned their deep friendship forged over chocolate to become business partners.
