Yuletide celebrations have never been this exciting as Resorts World Manila prepares for its Grand Fiesta 2012.
The six-week celebration will be highlighted by a series of concerts featuring the Von Trapp Children, the singing group descended from the real-life Maria and Georg Von Trapp of Sound of Music fame. Also included are Taiwanese Idols Xu Fu Kai, Cao Ya Wen, CaiJia Lin, and Guo Ting Jun, and a host of the foremost local talents in the industry, among others.
Another highlight is the first-of-its-kind daily 3D mapping show at the stately Plaza of Resorts World Manila’s Newport Mall. Using state-of-the-art 3D projection technology, the shows will tell various Christmas stories, with a new installment introduced every week.
Other notable events are the Miss Resorts World Manila 2012, the tree-lighting ceremony, Indoor Electric Parades, Chorale Competition, Pinoy Ultimate Jeepney Awards, Cake-Off Challenge, and others.
Daily entertainment courtesy of top local performers happens at the Newport Plaza starting Dec. 1. Experience a sensational nonstop offering of unique Filipino revelry each day starting Nov. 23 until the New Year’s, as magicians, mimes, buskers in stilts, and other street performers greet guests all day long in the jovial fairground of Resorts World Manila.

SEAIR launches early holiday sale
SOUTHEAST Asian Airlines (SEAIR) announced its early holiday treat for travelers with fares from PHP 581 or up to 50 percent off on all its domestic and international flights!
SEAIR is offering one-way fares between Manila and Tacloban for as low as P581, Cebu at P655, Iloilo at P699, Kalibo at P714, Bacolod at P799, Puerto Princesa at P839, and Davao at P849. SEAIR flies to its seven domestic destinations from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 4, also known as the Manila Domestic Airport.
The airline is also offering one-way fares to Kalibo at P699, Hong Kong and Kota Kinabalu at P999, Bangkok at P1,399, and Singapore at P1,999 from its hub at Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in Clark, Pampanga.
