SB19 is officially ‘Ready’ for their club era with Apl.de.Ap

Not even a full month after their release of “Moonlight,” SB19 is back with yet another club banger. This time, they worked with Fil-Am hip-hop icon, the one and only, Apl.de.Ap.

“Ready” is a high-energy, party bop that’s cementing the nation’s boy group’s club era. And we’re totally here for it.

Produced by long-time Black Eyed Peas collaborator Keith Harris, the song explores the collaboration between pop melodies and addictive sonic beats. “Ready” was written by Jean-Baptiste, Vince Nantes, Denzel, and the resident Black Eyed Peas rapper himself.

Radidz (a.k.a. SB19’s Pablo and Josue) also had a hand in the song by adding party-ready finishing touches through the sonic sound the group is becoming more and more known for.

The collab with the hip-hop icon is also another milestone in the group’s career, even though they never actually got the chance to physically work with Apl.de.Ap.

“We never got the chance to record together in a single booth, but Apl.de.Ap was such a great guy to work with. It’s an honor to collaborate with a global superstar of his caliber. We’ve learned so much from his generosity and creative feedback,” said SB19’s Justin de Dios

The genre switch-up was new territory for the group but having an international superstar (and a respected figure in the industry) with them on the ride definitely helped, admitted SB19’s Stell.

“We appreciate the chance to delve into new genres and production styles that come with unfamiliar territory. But with Apl.de.Ap at the helm of the creative process, we’re just blessed to take on this assignment. It’s not every day that you get to work with an artist you look up to.”

You can listen to “Ready” by SB19 and Apl.de.Ap. on all music streaming services.
