We were given a sample menu for the Manila branches. Prices range from P95 for the basic Espresso and Tea drinks, classic or walnut Liège waffle and single-scoop Italian gelato, to P135-175 for the specialty drinks (Frappeno, Yogurt Smoothies, Lattes, Mocktails), Honey Bread and waffle with toppings.

The drinks and Bingsu desserts (in Red Bean, Coffee and Strawberry flavors) come in regular and large sizes; at P165-280 per order, one Bingsu is actually huge enough for sharing.

Other unique must-try items include Misugaru (a fiber-rich drink made of powdered black sesame, black bean, black/brown rice, and barley, that’s a bit of an acquired taste), and the Gelato Liège waffle, which is the actually the best of both worlds.

For us, it’s a toss-up between Cream Cheese gelato with Blueberry topping on Walnut waffle, and Green Tea gelato with Red Bean topping on Classic waffle. Sorry, girls, Jang Geun Suk isn’t on the menu … yet. Angela V. Ignacio, contributor
