One thing I miss from life before quarantine is food courts. When we can’t decide where to eat, we could just go to a food court and order a bit from every stall. A simple lunch would then become a mix and match of different cuisines worth every penny. So here’s some good news: Some food courts have opened for delivery for orders you can make in a single go from different food and beverage stalls.
Salcedo Market
Saturday mornings at Salcedo Market had us choosing from Filipino kakanin, Japanese wagyu beef, Mexican tacos or just about any cuisine we’re craving. Other than that, we could always look forward to fresh produce and desserts. Now, Salcedo Market has made a Facebook group to connect customers to Salcedo Community Market vendors. Join the Facebook group to contact the vendors personally and arrange orders.
The Grid
Power Plant Mall’s food hall, The Grid, is more than just your run-of-the-mill food court. If you’ve been missing Flowerboy’s chicken pad thai, Gochu Gang’s beef bulgogi, La Chinesca’s tuna tostadas and Bun Appetit’s seafood rolls, you can now enjoy them at home as The Grid is now open for delivery. To order, visit this link for the full list of open stalls and order by calling 0917-7077459. Deliveries will be arranged via GrabExpress, Lalamove or Angkas.

The Podium
It’s not exactly a food court, but Podium To-Go, the Podium Mall’s new delivery service, is bringing us closer to our favorite restaurants from the mall. Order dishes from New Bombay, Putien, Wolfgang Steakhouse, Wildflour Bakery + Cafe and ten other restaurants by contacting the restaurant of your choice.
Mercato Centrale
Bonifacio Global City’s Mercato Centrale is the quintessential night market. Now open for delivery, you can enjoy their Chicago Pizza and Pasta, Bagnet Patong, JD’s Takoyaki and more at home. Check their menu here and order by contacting them on Facebook or at 0977-6086353.
