Make novel use of Christmas balls

FESTIVE Christmas ornament place cards for your holiday table setting.

They are simple and easy to do.  If you have extra Christmas balls, transform them into place card holders.  It’s an instant and festive accent that will brighten your Christmas table setting.  You can even use them as buffet labels, writing the name of the dish or dessert or identifying assorted cheese on a platter.

Materials you will need formaking your own place cards

All you need is a quick trip to National Book Store for the materials you need.  We bought nice specialty board paper, colored art line markers, and a box of clay.  You can also find a nice selection of Christmas balls.

Cut your board paper into the desired shape for your place cards.  Using the markers, you can outline with a border or creative patterns around the name.  Use the fine loop of wire on the Christmas ball to fasten the paper.  To make the Christmas ball stand upright on the table, use a small piece of clay to hold it in place.
