AirAsia is offering unli domestic flights for P4,999—but make sure you read the fine print

Although we’re still in the middle of the pandemic, that isn’t stopping AirAsia from offering arguably crazy deals on domestic travel. If you’ve ever dreamed of having unlimited flights around the country, AirAsia is offering unlimited flight passes with a one year validity for P4,999.

From Nov. 2 at 10 a.m., you can purchase their unli flight pass through their website. The purchase period ends on Nov. 8, with a limited number of seats available. Their unli flight pass sale is exclusive to their BIG Rewards members, so be sure to sign up for the airline’s loyalty program if you haven’t already.

If you’re considering making the best of this promo, you should make sure to read the fine print as well. Among the terms and conditions are that ticket holders must be 18 years of age or older on the day of departure—so minors can’t participate. Their travel period isn’t really a year, either. The start of their travel period is on Nov. 23 and ends on Oct. 31, 2021. That’s 341 days (if we’re being technical about it).

Other things to note is that you can only make bookings from Nov. 19 to Oct. 16 of the following year. Your bookings also need to be made 14 days prior to your departure date—so no, spontaneous trips are out of the question.

There’s also a lot of dates for when you can’t fly out. Here’s a list of their no-fly dates for the promo’s duration:

If you’re still thinking of booking, please don’t forget we’re still in the middle of a pandemic with no end in sight. Traveling is wonderful, but we’ll pass.
