Capitalife Lending Inc., Esquire Financing Inc. and BuyaCar.Ph, believe that local businesses have a social responsibility to make a difference in the community. Prosperity is a privilege that is not deserved solely because of the time, dedication and hard work that we invest. It is ultimately deserved by how much blessings we share to those in need.
The three companies abide by this principle and have reaffirmed their commitment through the institution of a community outreach program. The companies impart this mission to their respective employees by enjoining them to participate in the program. Employees are not only required to be customer-oriented, they are also expected to be kind and caring individuals who have big hearts.
The program focuses on children and runs in the form of feeding activities, medical missions and educational assistance efforts in cooperation with organizations and communities. Last December 22, 2012, the companies participated in a Christmas party for 150 abandoned, abused and orphaned children of the Virlanie Foundation at the Makati Coliseum. On January 26, the companies organized a feeding activity and fiesta party for 300 underprivileged children and their mothers at Plaza ng Tatlong Bayani, Barangay Hagdan Bato Itaas, Mandaluyong City. This coming February 23, the companies will once again sponsor an activity for 200 orphan children in cooperation with the Children’s Joy Foundation at the Toro Hills basketball court, Barangay Bahay Toro, Project 8, Quezon City.
Spearheading the program is Capitalife CEO Steve Borsuk. He revealed plans to conduct more activities in select areas in Metro Manila and to eventually establish a foundation to sustain and broaden this initiative to reach out to more people in need.
Aside from underprivileged children, Mr. Borsuk and Esquire President Rajan Uttamchandani also plan to provide for the needs of the elderly, the sick and calamity victims, through medical missions, equipment donations and livelihood training projects. Mr. Borsuk adds, “The next step is to align with more like-minded businesses and individuals. The more resources we can consolidate, the more Filipinos we can help.”
