You can now enjoy Banapple’s banoffee pie as ice cream

Local bakeshop Banapple takes pride in its signature banoffee pie—in fact, the dish is half the reason behind the store’s name, alongside other bestseller apple caramel crumble pie. And with its sumptuous dulce de leche layers and thick banana slices that show you how they don’t scrimp on ingredients, we don’t wonder why.

This makes the dish a perfect pick as one of the flavors for Banapple’s new ice cream line. Yes, you read that right: Banapple’s signature banoffee pie is now available in ice cream form.

Marking an exciting first, the bakeshop introduced two ice cream flavors—banoffee pie and French vanilla crumble—to its menu last Dec. 12. Both flavors take after the shop’s best selling pies and are available at  P350 per pint.

The ice cream is currently available at Banapple’s branches in Katipunan southbound and northbound, SM Fairview, SM Marilao, The District Imus and Matalino St. in Quezon City. You can either pick it up from these stores, or order via GrabFood or Banapple’s website. The bakeshop says the new ice cream flavors will be available in other branches soon, so customers should stay tuned.

Aside from its new ice cream line and signature pies, Banapple also has cheesecakes, coffee and pasta dishes on its menu. Founded in 2007, the store went from serving delectable treats from a home-based kitchen to having an expanded main kitchen in a bigger space along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City.
