Pursuing your personal dream isn’t easy. But imagine what it’s like for renowned architect Gil Coscolluela, whose passion in life is to build others’ dreams and make them reality.
As an architect at his family’s firm, W.V. Coscolluela & Associates, Coscolluela is a part of the team behind skyscrapers in Makati City, shopping malls, and high-rise office buildings and condominiums.
One of the recent projects that Coscolluela and the firm take pride in is the Zuellig Building, a 33-story building dubbed as the “greenest” in town.
But other than designing world-class structures such as the Zuellig Building, Coscolluela also enjoys doing smaller projects. “The thing that I enjoy most about being an architect is that it allows me to hone my creativity. That’s why for me, smaller architectural jobs such as retail stores or houses are also equally rewarding because you get to work more closely with clients who give you a freehand in terms of creativity.”
Coscolluela is one of the most sought-after architects in the country, and has a very busy lifestyle. He usually wakes up at 7 a.m. and starts his day by playing with his one-year-old son, Santiago. By 9 a.m., he is at his office or on-site. He ends work at 6 p.m. and plays sports with friends before coming home to his wife and kid, as he is also a husband, father, and just recently, an entrepreneur.
Coscolluela knows the importance of keeping himself healthy. This is why he takes multivitamins, particularly Pharmaton with Ginseng G115.
Pharmaton is one of the world’s most established multivitamin brands and is the only clinically proven multivitamin formulation with Ginseng G115.
Aside from taking Pharmaton regularly, Coscolluela also plays a variety of sports. “I feel it’s very important to stay healthy. Getting into sports is a good way of doing that,” he said.
Now that he’s 43, Coscolluela sees to it that he keeps his body fit by hitting the gym weekly and playing sports like badminton, tennis, swimming and squash.
“When you hit 40, that’s when all the aches and pains start coming out,” he shared. “But where I am now I think can be credited to the fact that I have an alert mind, good memory and sustained energy level.”
There’s no doubt that one of the toughest yet most fulfilling things in the world is realizing one’s dream. But as Coscolluela’s experience shows, helping others achieve their dreams may be one of the most rewarding occupations in the world.
