A frame and a shelf in one

A BLANK wall would be perfect for framed art.

So you’ve got that blank wall that would be perfect for some framed art. But with space at a premium these days, squeezing something useful out of it wouldn’t be too bad, either. Here’s an idea: a framed display shelf.

Take a frame you like and fit it with shelves or cubbyholes to display a collection of knickknacks, books, movies, memorabilia or whatever pleases your eye.

For added effect, use a mirror as the back base of the framed shelf. The reflection will add depth to your display.

Illuminate your shelf by having it fitted out with small penlights discreetly placed at the top of the inner framework.

Picking out a frame with interesting details is half the battle. Make sure it is one that you find greatly appealing!
