Filfest Cultural Foundation, now on its 9th year, will open its new season on April 23, 8 p.m., at Insular Life Theatre Alabang, with a concert of arias and well-loved Broadway and West End hits.

Myramae Meneses will lead Michaela Fajardo, Iona Ventocilla,  and London-trained Anna Migallos in singing arias from operas “La Boheme,” “Cosi fan Tutte” and “Carmen.”

They will also sing hits from “West Side Story,” “Les Miserables” and “Phantom of the Opera.”

Also featured are tenors and baritones Carlo Falcis, Roby Malubay, Carlo  Manalac and Raymond Yadao.
