Is it possible for one to tell exactly what’s medically wrong with another person using only his mind? This process is technically called “psychic diagnosis,” and I am convinced it is possible for anyone to do this under certain conditions.

I have succeeded in doing this myself several times. I have also proven that this can be done by almost everybody because I have seen ordinary and average people with no known psychic knowledge or skills at all do this in my seminars.

Let me describe what happened to me many years ago. This occurred in the early ‘80s. I was in my library and study at home one Sunday morning talking with two visitors, a Swiss doctor of medicine and a Filipino businessman.

After a short while, another friend, Tony, unexpectedly came knocking on my door and said he was in the area and decided to drop by because he was having a headache.

A joke

I invited him to join us in my library with my other two visitors. We were sitting on the carpeted floor, as my library purposely had no chairs. After introducing him to my two other guests, I told him to sit in front of me and jokingly told him I would try to find out what’s causing his headache. I didn’t know why I said this, because I had never done any psychic diagnosis or investigation of illness before. I thought of it merely as a joke.

Anyway, as I closed my eyes and concentrated on Tony’s face, a very clear image of his skull appeared in my mind, which somewhat shocked me. Then I noticed that his nose was slanted to one side; it was not straight. I immediately felt that his headache was coming from that slanted nose of his.

So I told him, “You know, your headache is coming from a problem with your nose. I saw it slanted to one side.” He then replied that I could be right, because he has had an operation to correct a “deviated septum.” I didn’t know what a “deviated septum” was, and so the Swiss doctor explained to me that it means his nasal bone is tilted to one side, and that could cause sinusitis and headache.

Tony was visibly surprised how I came to know that, since there was no visible sign that he had had surgery on his nose.

Many years passed. This time, another incident of psychic diagnosis, which included healing, took place. I was then working in a rubber shoe manufacturing company as head of the human resources division.

My assistant Mita asked permission to go home because of severe stomach pain. She said she had already gone to the clinic and was given medication but it didn’t help. I told her she could not possibly go home because the general manager was expecting to receive our report, which she was working on.

So I invited her over to my room to see what I could do. I wanted to know what was causing her stomach ache. I told her to sit in front of my desk while I positioned myself in a chair facing her.

Changing color

I told her to relax and to close her eyes, which she dutifully did. By the way, my secretary witnessed the entire incident because I had asked her to join us to observe what would happen.

As I became very relaxed and passive, with my eyes closed, I concentrated on her abdominal region. After a short while, I saw with my mind’s eye two portions of her stomach—the upper portion was bluish and the lower portion was very dark. I at once knew that the problem was coming from the dark lower part of her stomach.

I then focused all my attention on that part and imagined the color changing to blue, and then I noticed that black portion lightening up and beginning to become blue. When the dark part completely turned blue, I asked her to open her eyes.

She opened her eyes gradually, and looked like she had just awakened from a deep sleep. Then she smiled. I asked her how she felt, and she said her stomach pain was gone. She thanked me and later finished the report for the general manager.

How I did these two very successful and remarkable psychic diagnoses, I don’t know. It happened almost spontaneously. I didn’t know what I was doing, since nobody taught me how to do this, it just happened. I believe, therefore, that this ability to know what’s wrong with another person is innate or inborn to everybody. Anybody, under certain conditions, can do psychic diagnosis.

I say “under certain conditions,” because I couldn’t do this all the time. But that’s probably the nature of psychic perception. It is not constant. However, I have seen healers who could tell exactly what’s wrong with a person simply by looking at him or her. The ability to psychically diagnose another’s illness, I believe, can be developed.
