It’s no secret that today’s digital age has given much access to the global fashion industry, allowing new ideas and transforming what were once industry-exclusive fashion shows into circus-like spectacles come fashion week season.
When you get a P100 ad button on your page, it doesn’t instantly mean that you get paid P100 for every unique visitor, or P100 for every visitor that actually clicks on the ad. Payout may be based on CPM, or “cost per mille”—you get paid P100 only per 1,000 clicks or views—or based on traffic, clicks, leads or a combination of any of the three. Big-time bloggers are another story.
There are too many stories to ignore, with some reaching urban legend status. There’s the blogger who supposedly slapped a PR person at a beauty event, the blogger who shoplifted at a store opening and the blogger who has been hawking her product samples on a popular Internet forum.
