With more people viewing video content on their mobile devices, companies offering premium video-on-demand services are sitting up and taking notice. In fact, Hooq, Asia’s first and largest service, recently launched a new hybrid model in the country. It will initially be available on the Android platform.
HOOQ, the video-on-demand service launched in January 2015 and currently available in four Asian countries including the Philippines, is on aggressive mode. It has just signed a deal to produce original content that would transform “On the Job” (OTJ), the award-winning 2013 Filipino crime thriller film, into a brand-new, six-episode video series.
