Chinese conglomerate Fosun snapped up the ailing French fashion label Lanvin Thursday and promised to revive its fortunes. Lanvin, the oldest French luxury house still in existence, has been in turmoil since the shock sacking of popular designer Alber Elbaz two years ago.
