Feeling the vibe at Fête de la Musique
If there’s one thing we’d like to thank the French for, aside from decadent pastries, it’s Fête de la Musique.

We got excited over the different outfits we spotted at Wanderland, one of the country’s great music festivals. Comfy wear was the way to go due to hot weather, yet Wanderers still managed to look fab and rad. Styles were snapped up and saved, as the event did a great job of echoing the spirit of international music events.
In recent years, the music festival scene in the Philippines has been rapidly growing, as international artists fly in and perform before a large audience.
The 7107 International Music Festival is by far the biggest gig in the Philippines, with over 50 local and foreign artists playing for two days before a crowd that primarily came to watch the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Smart subscribers who attended the 7107 International Music Festival got to chill in the Smart Hangout, an air-conditioned tent with plush seats where one could charge gadgets, play games for freebies, load up, connect to WiFi and take refuge from the outdoor heat.
It’s no coincidence that dance clubs have been opening everywhere, that the crowds have been getting bigger, that more and more world DJs have been coming to the Philippines to perform, or that music festivals are becoming more frequent even outside Manila.
The latest in global fashion, beauty, and culture through a contemporary Filipino perspective.
