It was too early to indulge in the foamy brew at 3 p.m., but that was the whole point of attending the media launch of the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Beer Festival last Thursday at Publiko in Eastwood, Quezon City.
I have to hand it to local concert promoters nowadays. They have truly learned what makes hip, young and musically tasteful Manila tick, tock and rock.
The sessions tend to be “long nights” and other royal cousins join in as well.
The “ber” months are off to an explosive (and expensive) start as several international acts hit Philippine shores on the first week of September alone. The best part? There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
