Fourteen Stations of the Cross in stained glass done by Bicol artist Pancho Piano have been installed in Isla Pequeña in Subic Bay, Zambales. To be built on top of the island will be the Memorial of the Triumphant Ascension of Jesus Christ.
The drive to San Antonio, Zambales, to visit artist Elmer Borlongan took a little over three hours. This was five hours shorter than when he first made the trip as the first artist-in-residence at Casa San Miguel in the early 1990s.

It was a lively evening of music, art and history as the Pundaquit Festival recently kicked off its 20th season at Casa San Miguel in San Antonio, Zambales. In addition to musical performances and an art exhibit, the event also served as the grand opening of the Museum of Community Heritage, celebrating the history of the town of San Antonio and barrio San Miguel.
The recent inauguration of the Museum of Community Heritage at Casa San Miguel—that haven for the arts in San Antonio, Zambales—turned out to be a celebration of Philippine music, dance, visual art, and even cuisine and eco-tourism.
