Fashion stylist Ria Casco’s closet is overflowing with conversation pieces, from leather numbers acquired on a trip to Paris to accessories stolen from her parents’ closets (“I like to think it’s borrowed for an unlimited length of time,” she says) and unique finds from  visits to the flea market.

 

She admits to a penchant for vintage and hard-to-find pieces, though she’s not one to shy away from a visit to the usual suspects, either—Zara, Topshop, Forever 21.

 

During office hours, Casco can be seen rushing in heels from a designer’s atelier to stores in the mall to borrow clothes for shoots, all while resisting the temptation to shop.

 

“You’re surrounded by so many gorgeous pieces, how does one resist?” she says.

“MISS Dior and Philiosophy’s Living Grace are my two favorite scents right now because they smell so light and feminine; I’m also a fan of Clinique’s lipsticks because they don’t chap lips.”

 

Largely inspired by the ’70s, her bohemian take on glamour results in often offbeat ensembles.

 

“When it comes to styling,” she says, “I like keeping things understated, never over the top. That’s my philosophy on dressing myself and the models I encounter.”
