Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina spent precious time with her family vacationing in Brunei.
In several posts on Instagram on Saturday, the Filipino beauty queen chronicled her experiences in the tiny nation, which also included a clip of her warm welcome from Filipinos based there. “Muntik na akong maiyak sa lahat ng surprises ninyo (I almost cried because of your surprises),” she captioned her post. “Everything is worth it. I am proud to be Miss Philippines-Universe because of your love.”
Likewise, Medina and her family members shared some of the highlights of her exciting weekend getaway.
In another snap, Medina reflected on her vacation and time to bond with her relatives. “It’s been a while since I had the chance to relax and spend quality time with myself and my family. Thank you, Brunei! You have given me new memories to cherish,” she said.
