Another Filipina hopeful ended her journey in the fifth cycle of “Asia’s Next Top Model” on Wednesday.

Jennica Sanchez was eliminated during the show’s third episode for obtaining the lowest score in the show’s denim photo shoot challenge.

She aired her thoughts on Instagram and promised herself to be more than just a reality-show contestant.

“It’s a weird feeling but I feel very happy that my job is done,” she wrote. “I will never be ashamed because we need to do what we need to do. You can waste time but you can’t waste mine. You guys only see the version of us that you see on your screens and the story that we are making.”

Likewise, she reflected on her bonding moments with her fellow contestants. “My friendship with all the girls is the best prize I could have ever received. My passion for my profession is everything. This is what I love, this is why I wake up every day, no one and nothing can stop me from reaching my dreams.”

After Anjelica Santillan, Sanchez is the second Filipina to leave “Asia’s Next Top Model.” Maureen Wroblewitz is now the sole contestant representing the country on the show hosted by Cindy Bishop. A Filipina model has yet to win the show, which has aired for four seasons already.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
