If dogs are man’s best friend, both cats and dogs are girls’ true BFFs.
Lately, pet owners have been displaying affection for their dogs and cats through matching manicures.
Cristi Hanzel, a 19-year-old from California, discovered this trend when she posted a photo of her and her cat’s sparkling nails:

The paw “manicure” she used for Wednesday the cat are actually nail caps, reports Buzzfeed News.
After the photo was shared by another Twitter user, netizens began posting their own painted nails and that of their pets’ colorful claws:

According to Buzzfeed News, Hanzel is looking for more nail clips to match her set of nail polish.
Whether sparkling, glittery or plain polish, just make sure to put your pet’s safety first: it is advised not to use human nail polish which can be toxic; use nail clips or pet-safe polish instead. Niña V. Guno/JB
