IN PHOTOS: All the Pinoy food that Luke Nguyen ate in Manila

Celebrity chef and TV presenter Luke Nguyen recently went on a food crawl around Manila and he was surprised to to learn how diverse the Filipino cuisine is.

“It’s not all about adobo!” he said, dispelling the notion of some that Filipino food is all about the chicken or pork dish cooked in vinegar and soy sauce.

Although he had very limited time, he was able to sample some of the signature Filipino dishes and was quick to express his desire to come back “to go deeper into the villages” to try the country’s unusual dishes. He also hinted at shooting a TV show here.

Luke Nguyen was in Manila for the TLC Festival that was held Saturday at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
